As I’ve pointed out a number of times on this blog, many new acai berry weight loss products have entered the Australian market in recent months and most of them are rubbish. Acai XS, in my opinion, is one of them. I don’t know anything about the company behind this product and after doing quite a bit of research, I wasn’t able to find anything out. That is a big concern. Who want to buy a health product from a company they’ve never heard of before? That’s not all, they make some unsubstantiated claims on their website such as, ‘strengthens the immune system’ and ‘improves diabetic conditions’. Really? You might want to confirm that with your doctor if you’re looking for a product to help with those problems.
Acai XS makes some interesting points about acai berry including the following:
Acai contains a remarkable concentration of antioxidants that help combat premature aging, with 10 times more antioxidants than red grapes and 10 to 30 times the anthocyanins of red wine. It also provides an essential amino acid with natural minerals that are vital to your body’s muscles to contract and regenerate properly.
Acai is a natural anti-oxidant and has long been believed to have cancer fighting properties. Two years ago, The University of Florida published a ground breaking study about the health benefits of the Acai berry. The findings were published in The Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry.
While these claims are true, it doesn’t have anything to do with Acai XS. Acai XS has not been shown to have any of the benefits mentioned on their website. Try Acai XS at your own risk!
